🌸  What are these Facebook groups about?

        Saree Strong, Sustainable Fashion by PIN, Last Call and Mini Me are vibrant communities of 10,000+ members built around a shared

        love for South Asian fashion. Our mission is simple: create a Triple Win for all involved:

  • Donors free up space by giving new or gently used sarees, suits, lehengas, and more.
  • Buyers access beautiful desi clothing at affordable prices.
  • Proceeds support PIN's impactful community programs—grants to nonprofits, women's empowerment, education, and more.

🧡 Where does the clothing that are sold on Facebook groups come from?

       Every item is generously donated by individuals and organizations across the United States. Nothing is purchased or resold for profit.


🛍️ How do I purchase an item?

  • To claim an item, comment “SOLD” on its post. The first “SOLD” comment secures the purchase.
  • For auction listings, bid until the deadline or purchase at the "Buy Now" price listed.


📸 How do I find items that are still available?

  • Visit the Media or Photos tab in the Facebook group.
  • If comments are closed, or the last comment says “Sold to…”, the item is no longer available.
  • You can also sort your group feed by Recent Activity to spot newly listed items.


📏 What size should I buy?

  • Measure from armpit to armpit, then double the number. Here is the detailed description with images. 


🙅 Can I contact another buyer to ask for an exchange or trade?

       Out of respect for our community, please do not reach out to other buyers requesting exchanges or to give up their claimed items. 

       With hundreds of beautiful pieces coming in regularly, you’ll find something you love soon!


💰 How are the funds raised from these sales used?

       Funds raised go toward supporting our charitable programs:

  • We offer grants to qualifying nonprofits—especially smaller organizations.
  • If you have a favorite nonprofit, encourage them to apply for a PIN grant.
  • Proceeds also fund education, women’s empowerment, and local community initiatives.

📏 What size should I buy?

We measure by chest size:

  • Measure from armpit to armpit, then double the number.


  • Make sure to measure without stretching the fabric.


  • Consider the cut of the item. For straight-cut kurtis, size up if your hips are larger than your bust.

📦 How to donate?

      Please fill in the donation form for clothing/accessory donation and a team member will reach out to you within 24 hours! You can also visit our 

      donation page for donating clothes and/or funds.


♻️ What do you accept ?

     We accept South Asian clothings/accessories. We are currently processing 500+ boxes. To manage this volume, we are only accepting high-demand 

     ethnic items at this time.

         ✅ ACCEPTING:

  • Party wear, silk, silk blends, cotton sarees & blouses (no regular sarees please).
  • Party wear suits, lehngas, shararas.
  • Unbroken fashion jewelry, potlis, purses, juttis.
  • Girls' ethnic clothes — ages 0–12 years.

        ❌ NOT ACCEPTING:

  • Regular Sarees/Kurtis/Churidaars.
  • Men’s & Boys’ Clothing.
  • Western Wear & Home Decor.

       ⚠️ DONATION STANDARDS: As a rehoming non-profit, our goal is to pass on items with dignity. We kindly ask that you be mindful of your    

      donation's condition. Please ensure all items are clean, stain-free, and folded. 

       📦 MUST BE IN CARDBOARD BOXES.  

       🚫 NO TRASH BAGS PLEASE.


📦 Do you offer drop-off locations in DFW?

       Yes! There are various drop-off locations available around DFW area, offered generously at our volunteer homes in Murphy, Plano, Irving, 

       Frisco, Richardson, Aubrey. Please email us at support@peoplesimpact.org or call 972-746 -2523 to arrange drop-off.


Invoicing, Payment & Shipping FAQS:

🧾 When do i receive invoice?

  • Invoices are sent by 10th of each month of your total purchases. Reach out to support@peoplesimpact.org for expediting your purchases and the team will be happy to accommodate.
  • Make sure to fill the google form with your contact details here: tinyurl.com/peoplepin (used for invoicing & shipping only).
  • You should receive email via "service@paypal.com". Add it to your contact list to avoid going to spam folder.


💳 How do I pay?

  • Submit your contact details here: tinyurl.com/peoplepin (for invoicing & shipping only).
  • Please note: An 8.25% sales tax will be added as a line item on all Texas invoices.
  • Once invoice received, you can pay via the invoice link using PayPal, credit card, or Zelle to payments@peoplesimpact.org.


📬 When will I receive my shipment?

  • Orders are shipped within 2–4 weeks to optimize cost through batch shipping.
  • We offer local pick-up services around DFW area. 
  • For urgent orders, email: support@peoplesimpact.org for expedited shipping.


📦 Do you offer local pickup in DFW?

       Yes! Free pickup is available. We offer local pickups at volunteer homes in Murphy, Plano, Irving, Frisco, Lewisville, Southlake and Flower Mound.

🔄 Can I return or get a refund?

  • All sales are final.
  • In rare cases where damage or stains weren’t disclosed, we offer store credit or a tax-deductible donation receipt for the item. To learn more, visit our refund policy page.
