📦 How to donate indian clothes? What do you accept?
Thank you for your interest in recycling and saving the environment! To donate Indian clothes, please visit our donation page on our website.
At this time we are only accepting gently-used party-wear clothes like salwar sets, kurtas, ghaghras, lehengas and sarees. We are not accepting kids and men’s clothing. Thank you!
🧡 Where does the clothing come from?
Every item is generously donated by individuals and organizations across the United States. Nothing is purchased or resold for profit.
💰 How are the funds used?
Funds raised go toward supporting our charitable programs:
- We offer grants to qualifying nonprofits—especially smaller organizations.
- If you have a favorite nonprofit, encourage them to apply for a PIN grant.
- Proceeds also fund education, women’s empowerment, and local community initiatives.
🛍️ How do I purchase an item?
- To claim an item, comment “SOLD” on its post. The first “SOLD” comment secures the purchase.
- For auction listings, bid until the deadline or purchase at the "Buy Now" price listed.
📸 How do I find items that are still available?
- Visit the Media or Photos tab in the Facebook group.
- If comments are closed, or the last comment says “Sold to…”, the item is no longer available.
- You can also sort your group feed by Recent Activity to spot newly listed items.
🔄 Can I return or get a refund?
- All sales are final.
- In rare cases where damage or stains weren’t disclosed, we offer store credit or a tax-deductible donation receipt for the item.
🙅 Can I contact another buyer to ask for an exchange or trade?
Out of respect for our community, please do not reach out to other buyers requesting exchanges or to give up their claimed items. With hundreds of beautiful pieces coming in regularly, you’ll find something you love soon!
